1、 “cost” means all expenditure properly incurred or to be incurred, whether on or off the Site, including overhead and other charges properly allocable thereto but does not include any allowance for profit.

“費用”指在現場或現場以外已發生的或將要發生的所有正當支出，包括管理費及應合理分支的其它費用，但不包括任何允許的利潤。

2、“day” means calendar day.

“日”指歷法日。

3、 “foreign currency” means a currency of a country other than that in which the Works are to be located.

“外幣”指工程所在國之外的任一國家的貨幣。

4、“writing” means any hand-written, type-written, or printed communication, including telex, cable and facsimile transmission.

“書面信息”指任何手寫、打字或印刷的通訊函件，包括電傳、電報和傳真。

5、The headings and marginal notes in these Conditions shall not be deemed part thereof or be taken into consideration in the interpretation or construction thereof or of the Contract.

本條款中的標題和旁注不應視為合同本文的一部分，在對合同條款或合同本身的解釋或構詞中也不應考慮這些標題和旁注。

6、Words importing persons or parties shall include firms and corporations and any organisation having legal capacity.

凡指當事人或當事方的詞，應包括公司、企業及具備法人資格的任何組織。

7、Words importing the singular only also include the plural and vice versa where the context requires.

僅表明單數形式的詞也包括復數含義，視上下文而定，反之亦然。
