1、 “Contract” means these Conditions (Parts I and II), the Specification, the Drawings, the Bill of Quantities, the Tender, the Letter of Acceptance, the Contract Agreement (if completed) and such further documents as may be expressly incorporated in the Letter of Acceptance or Contract Agreement (if completed).
合同翻譯中文是：“合同”指本條件（第一、二部分）、規范、圖紙、工程量表、投標書、中標函、合同協議書（如已完成），以及明確列入中標函或合同協議書（如已完成）中的此類進一步的文件。
2、“Specification” means the specification of the Works included in the Contract and any modification thereof or addition thereto made under Clause 51 or submitted by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer.
合同翻譯中文是：“規范”指合同中包括的規范，以及根據第51條規定的或由承包商提出并經工程師批準的對規范的任何修改或增補。
3、 “Drawings” means all drawings, calculations and technical information of a like nature provided by the Engineer to the Contractor under the Contract and all drawings, calculations, samples, patterns, models, operation and maintenance manuals and other technical information of a like nature submitted by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer.
合同翻譯中文是：“圖紙”指工程師根據合同規定向承包商提供的所有圖紙、計算書和類似性質的技術資料，以及由承包商提出并經工程師批準的所有圖紙、計算書、樣品、圖樣、模型、操作和維修手冊以及類似性質的其它技術資料。
4、 “Bill of Quantities” means the priced and completed bill of quantities forming part of the Tender.
合同翻譯中文是：“工程量表”指構成投標書一部分的、已標價的以及完成的工程量表。
11、 “Tender” means the Contractor’s priced offer to the Employer for the execution and completion of the Works and the remedying of any defects therein in accordance with the provisions of the Contract, as accepted by the Letter of Acceptance.
合同翻譯中文是：“投標書”指承包商根據合同的各項規定，為工程的實施、完成及任何缺陷的修補，向業主提出并為中標函所接受的報價文件。
